Glad it passed Cosy. I know how "worried" you were lol

I have the same problem... I just want stuff enough for 1-2 people. But nooooo, I have to get the huge crap. >.> Dumb. Or pay more for smaller portions.

I have no problems paying for a smaller portion--they used to carry them. But now they cater only to large families or bulk buyers (I dont really have extra space to put pounds of frozen veggies in my freezer).
oh well....I think the asian market had them, guess I will just shop there instead.

It really is stupid, as a single man living alone, i have a hard time buyinh food too, since it's always for 4 + it seems, kinda annoying.

Also, i talked with a friends mate, who has same symptoms as me, almost 100% the same, and he has been diagnose with Chrons disease, so i will ask my docs on the hospital to check for that.

my brother has crohn's...its not a fun disease. (bad bowels run in my family--my dad's mom had colon cancer, my mom had colon cancer....ibs, colitis etc...all my siblings have one of them---).
I feel your pain!
I seem to be at the other end of that spectrum....other than bad digestion......

yeah, get it checked out, the worst you can find out is that its not crohns.

hang in there azzer!
I understand completely--knowing WHAT you have even if its really bad, is better than worrying about what it MIGHT be...at least you have an answer then. (and can plan accordingly).
oy, its been getting cooler at night, had the doors open until almost sundown yesterday (still somehow its 14 degrees warmer IN my condo than outside )...but at least is coming down a bit--and the a/c hasnt been on (my elec bill feels a bit smaller).

It is 4 degrees warmer in my apartment atm than it is outside. Of course it is 61 outside. But I like the 65 degree weather inside. Perfect for me. Love cold weather.

hmm, so election yesterday in Denmark, sadly the socialists won, so now instead of living on starving border, i have to live under it ,gotta love that.

going from 39% tax, to 46% is gonna be so great for the poor in Denmark.

As much as I would love to talk about America and its socialism we are already walking a fine line talking about politics. Warning to others, remember political talk is frowned upon because it can turn south very quickly! (Though I'm not too worried with the people who frequent here)

You guys get taxed a lot but don't you have a lot of perks for that too? Like free medical care and such?

yeah our 'highest' tax bracket is 33%....but when you factor in the fica (social security/medicare/whatever) for another 10 or so %....we are more like at 40%

yeah our politics are sucky at best--and not worth mentioning really.

ah the weekend is here....time to...
ah yes, put everything BACK onto my balcony....had to move a lot of stuff to my garage.

We have free medical care, but dentist, physios, and so on costs money-

our VAT (value added tax) is 25%, so for instance, cars are 25% more expensive here than where there's no VAT (value added tax), and it's on every damn thing.

I just don't like that the poor will get poorer, before it was rich is getting richer, but poor people got richer too.

Yeah just wanted to vent now that we have a crappy government. :P

we dont have a vat..but we do have sales tax--and it varies from state to state, heck even from city to city (for a while cook county--chicago's county--had the HIGHEST sales tax in the country at 10.25%..even higher than new york city!!...they did drop it down a weeee bit (to 9.75 oh boy))....they try to get you any way they can. (it was all over the news for a while)

had homemade pizza for dinner with sortof fresh mozzarella....yum!

I think mine around here is like 8% now or something... Don't remember for sure. But it isn't 25% that is for sure!

I think my gf and I might be making homemade pizza at some point this weekend... Not 100% sure. I do know I'm grilling out burgers tonight. Should be delicious.

Ick. Do not want that at all.

Just got back from Best Buy, Target and PetsMart. Gf got a wireless router for her place so that now I can get on the internet. So I set that up. Target was in search of a fan, no luck. And Petsmart was to get her a beta fish and for me to get stuff for my future bearded dragon. Dropped a pretty penny on getting some stuff. The funny thing was the lady who checked us out, used to go to the school I now teach at. Small world. (I wasn't in the same town that I teach in)

Need something easy to take care of. Bearded dragons and leopard gecko's are supposed to be the easiest things to take care of. Though I probably have the tank size to take care of a monitor lol 75 gallon tank just feels like overkill.

You could almost live in that all by yourself.
